Overview
EZTrace is a tool that aims at generating automatically execution trace from HPC (High Performance Computing) programs.
It generates execution trace files that can be interpreted by visualization tools such as ViTE.
If you want to understand your application performance, just run it with EZTrace and use the ViTE (Visual Trace Explorer) open source tool to visualize the program behavior.
Example:
Hybrid MPI+OpenMP application with two processes.
Each process computes for a while and then exchange data with the other
process.
